1. Business English Instructor

[Job Description]

*Speaking Instructor (Adult Business English & Communication Skills)

*Type of Class: Business English & Communication Skills (Speaking)

*Students: Adults/Business Professionals

*Levels: Beginner/Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate

*Class size: Group class and/or 1:1

*Curriculum: Standardized Curriculum and Course Books (training provided)

 

[Minimum Requirements]
① All potential candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year university located in a country in which the native language is English (US, Canada, Australia).
② Prior Experience in corporate field (over 1 years) or teaching business English (over 1 years)

[Required Documents]

– Nationwide Criminal Background Check *Notarized with an apostille

[Other Requirements (preferred)]
– Bachelors degree in Business, Education or English
– Prior experience teaching adults
– Prior experience teaching business English

1. Seoul Samseong Station 서울 삼성원내수업) –[ Saturday Part-time ]

-Seoul, Samseong Station

– Tentative Schedule: Saturday 9:00AM ~ 6:00PM

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

Start Date: August 22, 2015

Training: ASAP (August 17 2015 -Mandatory)

* 30,000KRW per hour

 

2. Seoul Apgujeong (서울 압구정) –[ Morning Part-time ]

* Female bilingual preferred

* Wednesday and Friday 7:30AM – 8:30AM at Apgujeong

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

– Start Date: August 24, 2015

– Training Start Date: August 17, 2015

* 40,000KRW per hour

 

3. Seoul Samseong Station – Lecture via video (서울 삼성역 화상강의) –[ Morning Part-time ]

* Lecture via video at TPRK Samseong Center

*Class size: 1:1 [lecture via video]

* Monday to Friday 6:00AM – 7:10AM

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

– Start Date: September 1, 2015

– Training Start Date: August 24, 2015

* 40,000KRW per hour

 

4. Ulsan Bukgu (울산 북구) –[ Full Time]

– Monday ~ Friday 4~6 teaching hours / day

* The Saturday classes may be assigned

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

– Start Date: September 1, 2015

– Training Start Date: ASAP or August 24, 2015 at the latest

**Salary – Based on 90 teaching hours: 2.76 million (including housing stipend)

(subject to change depends on lecture hours)

 

 

5.  Gyunggi Hwasung Namyang & Uiwang (경기도 화성시 남양 & 의왕) – [Full time]

– Monday ~ Friday 11:00 ~ 19:00

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

* Other locations in Seou/Gyunggi may be assigned depending on class schedule

– Transportation is provided between Gangnam (or Jukjeon) and Namyang

(The shuttle leave at 9AM from Gangnam and stops at Jukjeon on the way to Namyang

– Start Date: September 1, 2015

– Training Start Date: ASAP or August 24, 2015

**Salary – Based on 100 teaching hours: 2.9 million (including housing stipend) + business trip fee

 

 

6. Seoul Samseong (서울 삼성센터 원내수업) – [Full time]

– Must be bilingual (Female bilingual preferred)

– Must have experience teaching OPIC, TOEIC Speaking, and other English speaking tests

– Five working days a week (Saturday classes may be assigned)

– Tentative Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:30PM ~ 10:30PM

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

Start Date: September 1, 2015

Training: ASAP or August 24, 2015

**Salary – Based on 80 teaching and 40 office work hours: 2.83 million (including housing stipend)

(subject to change depends on lecture hours)

 

 

7. Seoul Samseong Lecture via video Morning shift – [Full time]

– Five working days a week (Saturday classes may be assigned)

– Tentative Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00AM ~ 3:00PM

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

Start Date: September 1, 2015

Training: ASAP or August 24, 2015

**Salary – Based on 90 teaching hours: 2.76 million (including housing stipend)

(subject to change depends on lecture hours/office work hours)

 

 

8. Seoul Samseong Lecture via video Night shift- [Full time]

– Five working days a week (Saturday classes may be assigned)

– Tentative Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:00PM ~ 11:00PM

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

Start Date: September 1, 2015

Training: ASAP or August 24, 2015

**Salary – Based on 90 teaching hours: 2.76 million (including housing stipend)

(subject to change depends on lecture hours/office work hours)

 

 

9. Gwangju Bukgu Imdong(광주 북구 임동) [Part-Time]

– Native English Speaker (F visa holders only)

– Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur 7:30~8:30AM (2 days / week)

* Actual teaching hours may vary due to class schedule

* 40,000KRW per hour

– Start Date: October, 2015

– Training Start Date: September 21, 2015

 

 

** Aforementioned salaries include housing stipend of 0.4 million

** Korean citizens are not eligible to receive housing stipend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.  Academic Coordinator Position (Korean-English Bilingual)
[Job Description]

– Act as the primary intermediary between instructors and head office staffs

– Collaborate with staff and administrators in the development, revision and preparation of master schedules, logistics for program launch and operations

– Coordinate with the R&D and training teams in planning and running instructor workshops, training and calibration sessions.

– Plan, develop, implement and maintain standards of quality control across the board for all programs.

– Travel on-site to domestic locations and continuously monitor instructors and take corrective action measures for comprehensive program enhancement

– Draft and send well-written email notifications and official announcements to instructors on company’s behalf

– Implement course evaluation process and assist in analysis of evaluation results

– Plan, develop, launch and coordinate program-related special events

– Coordinate information with accounting department for instructor compensation and payment tracking

 

[Minimum Requirements]

– Must be bilingual in English and Korean

– Minimum 2 year business English teaching experience in Korea

– BA degree from an accredited 4 year university

– Proactive, positive mindset and ability to work in a multi-cultural work environments

– Strong organizational skills required

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Computer skills to include Excel, Powerpoint

– Must possess excellent follow-through and problem solving ability

– Domestic travel will be required

– Possess Korean driver license and be able to drive (Male Gyopo preferred)
