Overview
Come join a team of enthusiastic and positive teachers at Reading Star’s Daegu campus! You will teach English to students ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade by using textbooks and novels through a reading based curriculum. You will teach a variety of interesting subjects such as Comprehension Classes, Reading Classes, Writing Classes, and more. Each unit you teach will have a unique story that you will help the students understand and learn about. Some topics could include fiction stories on Bigfoot, while others could include reading novels like The Kite Runner! The students are here to learn and are ready to work hard to improve their English skills. Our staff are friendly, supportive, and helpful. I personally have worked here as a native teacher for a year and a half and love it! Now, I want to help others live their dream in Korea too! :)
About Reading Star Institute - Daegu Campus
Reading Star itself is modeled after the American school and learning system. Students strive to up their reading level by one American grade year each year they are in the program. The hagwon has core principles including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and more. We help students be motivated and excited about learning English. We help them learn English through exposure to stories, novels, and projects. It's a great approach and helps them stay encouraged and actually enjoy learning!
