Namsangol Hanok Village
Namsangol Hanok Village is located in the Pildong area on the outskirts of Namsan. It’s a Mini village packed with history that is right smack dab in the heart of Seoul. Built during the Joseon Dynasty.There is 5 distinct areas within this beautiful folk village. Each representing the classes of people during that era in Korean History. From the Middle class to the yangban which was the elite class at that time.
At the hanok village, International visitors can enjoy traditional Korean activities such as archery and enjoy traditional Korean performances as well. Anyone who is curious about Korean wedding culture should visit the village on the weekend when the wedding ceremony reenactments take place. There also traditional korean games such as tuho or paeng-chigi.
Also One can find the Taekwondo experience program for foreigners which is held at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday every week at Namsangol Hanok Village. Foreigners wishing to experience taekwondo rather than simply watch can participate in taekwondo practice sessions.
Another Must do for any tourist who goes here is the Hanbok experience. A hanbok is a traditional korean dress which looks very elegeant and extremely colorful.

Chungmuro Station (Line 3 or 4) Exit #3 or 4, walk for 5 minutes.
