[FT Non-teaching] R&D Program Architect / Content Innovation Project Manager

[Job Description Overview]
The SPEP R&D Program Architect and Content Innovation Project Manager will work with internal and external resources to plan and develop creative content and learning materials for business professionals. The Program Architect and Content Innovation Project Manager will be involved with all aspects of content planning, development, revision, and directly responsible for project outcomes and efficiency. He/she will be comfortable with technology and comfortable working alongside and managing multiple content developers in the creative development process.

[Locations/Schedule]
· Seoul, Samseong Station
· Monday to Friday 9:00AM ~ 6:00PM
· Some Saturdays will be required
· Start Date: Mid-November, 2016

[Salary]

· Extra housing stipend of 400,000KRW will be provided for E2 and F visa only

[Responsibilities]
Oversee the creative development, editorial, and interactivity of program, course, and textbook material during the content development phase.
Follow accepted internal development guidelines and processes to design and develop content and training materials of the highest quality.
Provide input on planning and strategy for content curation with development teams.
Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure proper training design and consistent delivery methodology and content integration with digital platforms.
Collaborate with Senior Editor to align development timetables and ensure final output is up to highest standards and meets project objectives.
Review content during all phases of production, including before and after design, to ensure the educational and content goals are achieved.
Provide verbal and written feedback, reviews, and assessment of content submissions
Manage internal and external contracted talent, such as writers or content innovators, to ensure deliverables match the expected quality and specifications.
Contribute to the content roadmap, helping to prioritize and plan resources.
Collaborate with other program architects and content innovators throughout production, helping guide the content and design to completion with specific feedback about content and interactivity that is appropriate for each phase of development.
Interface with external and internal educators and authors to ensure the deliverables represent the brand content, editorial and design requirements.
Propose creative solutions to content production that are within the approved schedule and budget.
Allocate work to internal and external content innovators and keep track of individual performance.
Review quality of all contracted work; provide feedback to editors and writers on any recurring issues related to content creation; when necessary under deadline, bring quality of content up to standard through development and revision.
Stay up to date with trends in second language acquisition pedagogy and assessment; stay up to date in ELT market needs and trends; stay up to date with ESL./EFL learning market needs and trends.
Help senior management evaluate potential developers, content concepts.

[Other Duties]
Collaboratively plan, develop and conduct workshops/seminars/presentations in English for corporate clients, business professionals, and SPEP corporate training staff.
Participate in the planning, development and facilitation of corporate trainer workshops and recalibration sessions.
Conduct speaking proficiency assessments on a seasonal and/or needs-basis.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and other materials for clients.

[Position Requirement]
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver ESL content and learning materials
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to give constructive verbal and written feedback to experienced content developers
Strong history of executing the vision of senior management
Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
Must have prior adult ESL content & curriculum development experience
Must have a minimum of 1 year Business English teaching experience and/or other work experience in Korea
Must be able to demonstrate complete mastery of written and verbal English
BA/MA in TESOL, Education, English, Linguistics, Journalism, Business
MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent proofreading/editing/revision skills & extremely detail-oriented
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
