Incheon, South Korea – Private International Kindergarten Teacher: 2.1 to 2.7 million KRW a month plus benefits

POSITION: Kindergarten / Elementary Teacher

We have positions available at an international kindergarten that is foreign owned and operated. It’s a great school located in Incheon catering to Korean and foreign children. It’s a 9-6, Monday to Friday job with kindi classes in the mornings and elementary classes in the afternoons. The kindi classes are small with no more than 10 students. There are seven foreign teachers currently on staff and we are looking for more to help us expand as demand for our classes keeps growing.

The area the school is located in is a new modern eco / tech city with lots of parks, restaurants, shopping and other entertainment. It’s a great place to live, work and play.
BENEFIT PACKAGE

Salary: 2.1 million to 2.7 million KRW depending on qualifications and experience
Monday -Friday work week
40 hours per week
Airfare reimbursement
Health Insurance and Pension 50% covered
2 weeks of paid vacation, one week in July and one week over Christmas holiday, plus national holidays
Contract completion (severance) bonus equal to one month’s salary

 

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

Native English speaker from North America, New Zealand, the UK, Australia or South Africa
Bachelor’s Degree – Early Childhood Education (preferred, but not required)
Teachers with only a TEFL certification should have experience with young children
Clean Criminal Record
Commit to a 1 year contract
