Overview
We are looking for American/ Canadian female based in South Korea, who can work full-time as a proofreader/writer in our office located in Seoul. You will be in charge of ensuring that all articles are free of errors, are concise, consistent, and grammatically and factually correct. This also involves editing, and ensuring that texts are engaging and accessible to the readers.
Responsibilities:
Must have an excellent eye for detail and fluid command of English language and grammar.
Must be comfortable managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Proofread all submitted articles from the writers
Write error-free, engaging, grammatically and factually correct articles
Prioritize projects against schedule
Strong communication skills with ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, self-starter, a positive attitude and collaborative personality
Qualifications:
BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with proofreading and news writing are plus points but are not required
Fluid command of English language and grammar
Excellent attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
Proficient understanding of editorial principles and proofreading
Must be able to adhere to style guides and uphold brand identity
Able and eager to meet deadlines
