With a new purpose-built Secondary School ready to open in August 2022. We are looking for teachers who may be interested in joining this new, exciting school adventure. To be considered, you would need to be a qualified teacher who is experienced working in International Schools and using the curriculum. We are looking for teachers who can teach:

  • Mathematics,
  • Sciences,
  • Physical Education and Health,
  • Social Sciences and other Humanities,
  • Art,
  • Music,
  • Drama,
  • IT Technology,
  • Languages, or
  • English.

We do not discriminate on race or colour, however, you will need to be able to teach lessons in clear confident English, with good teaching skills, ability, and qualifications.

To be considered, you will need to have:

  • Valid teaching certification, or confirm your eligibility from an accredited teacher education program.
  • Two years of successful teaching experience in an accredited public or private school.
  • A clean Police check from your country of origin.
  • Knowledge and familiarity using curriculum.

There is still much to do, be developed, and questions to be answered, like what curriculum and subjects will be offered? These things have not been confirmed yet and will be based on the skills set of the applicants we recruit. Rest assured it will be in place and ready to go when the school starts, all teachers will be trained and supported with all aspects of teaching when the school opens.

About Hillside Collegiate International

Hillside Collegiate International School is situated in the village of Jesipo on Geoje Island, the school is located on 10 hectares of land on a hill next to a forest overlooking a fishing village on a bay. This is a boutique school for about 300 students.

The early years and primary schools are well established with about 100 students and growing, we are now expanding into secondary school. We are want to create a school that is going to offer a point of difference to other schools in Korea, we hope to take the focus away from monotonous repetitious teaching. Offering fine arts type subjects, environment, history, language, geography, music, research, public speaking, design, IT, Robotics, but it also Maths and Sciences.
