By working for Fairtrade Korea, you will have the chance to make a positive difference for thousands of workers who have experienced social and economic benefits as a result of the work of Fairtrade! You will also have the opportunity to develop your passion for marketing while promoting Fairtrade awareness among consumers in South Korea. Moreover, after completing a 6 months internship, you are eligible to become a full-time employee and be a part of an international team that is working towards creating a more fair world!

Tasks:
-Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, direct mail, print
ads, networking, internet, social media, and develop new methods of
marketing
-Assist with visits and/or arranging meetings with persons responsible for the various Fairtrade communities in South Korea, which may include schools, churches, universities, etc.
– Assist with the process of connecting various distributors/importers to foreign Fairtrade brands
-Assist with customizing and then disseminating press releases
-Assist with and help create events/campaigns/exhibitions with the aim of promoting greater Fairtrade awareness in South Korea, particularly in Seoul
-Assist with creating various pamphlets/marketing materials in both English and in Korean which teach the public about Fairtrade in a clear way

Requirements:
-Prior Marketing experience is highly preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability
to prioritize in a changing environment
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook

– Must be able to work full-time, from 9 to 6 p.m.

 

Salary:

Negotiable
