Hello,
We want to employ a native English teacher who can begin their work at our school from April 3rd this year to February 28th next year. Our school is one of 39 regular private elementary schools in Seoul and is located about 2.5 kilometers away from Geumcheon-gu Office Subway Station on Subway Line One. This position is intended for a native English teacher who is already in Korea now. The following is working conditions for the native English teacher:
1. 24 teaching class hours per week during school days
2. 4 teaching classes per day for the period of 15 in-school English camp days during the summer break and another 4 teaching classes per day for the period of 15 in-school English camp days during the winter break (Working hours during camp days are from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.)
3. Working days: Monday through Friday
4. Working hours during school days: From 8:20 am to 4:20 pm
5. Number of students per class: 8 to 10
6. Medical insurance: 1/2 paid by the school (The teacher pays the other half.)
7. National pension: 1/2 paid by the school (The teacher pays the other half.)
8. Number of vacation days during the summer, winter and spring breaks combined: 25 ~ 29 days
9. Housing: A clean one-room studio is provided which is within 15 minutes’ walking distance from the school (An allowance of 500,000 won per month will be paid to a teacher who does not need housing.).
10. Payment: A monthly salary of 2.6 million won is paid.
11. A severance payment, which is normally made when a teacher has completed their one-year working contract, will be possible when the teacher works at our school in the 2018 school year as well, which starts on March 2nd, 2018.
