Overview

We are a guesthouse In Hongdae looking for someone interested in a work – accommodation exchange. The guesthouse is 600m from Honggik Exit 2, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops and close to the neighborhood’s party scene.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Male
Chinese and English speaker mandatory, Korean is a big plus
Someone who can LIVE IN our guesthouse
Ability to work for a minimum of 6 MONTHS.
We prefer a Chinese student, perhaps someone who studies Hospitality

SCHEDULE
5 evenings and 1 afternoon
The shift would be Tues to Sat between 6PM and 11PM
Saturday between 11AM and 3PM for cleaning (the rest of the days you would not have to clean)
The schedule is flexible, so if you are a student we would do our best to accommodate your classes.

TASKS
Checking guests in
Occasionally helping with Chinese guests
Assisting them through phone calls/KakaoTalk
The cleaning you are required to do on Saturday is very minimal – stripping and dressing beds, vacuuming, mopping, tidying the kitchen and bathroom (you would not be doing this alone, other staff would help you), the laundry gets done outside of the guesthouse through a cleaning service so you would not be required to do that.

WHAT WE OFFER
We offer FREE ACCOMMODATION in one of our 8-bed (mixed) dorm rooms – the bed is sturdy and comfortable, it comes with a curtain so you could have privacy, a power plug and a light (the rooms retail for 31000 KRW per night)
The bathroom is a shared one
Free breakfast
A kitchen you could cook your meals in
Relaxing lounge areas – think of it as working from your living room
A quiet place for you to study in – the guesthouse is very quaint – during your evening shift not all the time would be taken by checking guests in so you could definitely study.
Free toiletry supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, towels)

The job is a very easy one, it gives you plenty of time for school and studying. If you are able to work for more hours we could remunerate you so you have the opportunity of making extra cash.
