Travelling or Living in Korea? You’re looking for some free Wi-Fi hotspots so you can leech off for free right? Many places like McDonald’s, Starbucks, Caffe Bene and even some taxis offer free Wi-Fi, but for some odd reason passwords aren’t made so clear. FEAR NOT….. Here’s are some quick tips so you can unlock free Wi-Fi anywhere you go in Korea!!!
It is true when one say’s Korea is one of the most wired country in the world. The capital city Seoul offers free Wi-Fi almost everywhere. The city has reportedly made contracts with three major telecommunication companies so that by 2015, people will be able to use free wireless internet anywhere in Seoul. No need for logins or passwords, so be on the lookout for “Seoul Wi-Fi”
Also, Korea has number of common routers which come with preset factory passwords. Although many people do change it but in surprise number of people leave the factory password intact. Many Business houses and big corporations also offer Wi-Fi but but don’t readily reveal their passwords. If you want to enjoy free Wi-Fi in Korea, search the Wi-Fi name mention below and try out the given passwords. However, it’s not 100% guaranteed to work, but then again chances are high that you’ll be scoring and leeching some free Wi-Fi wherever you go in Korea.

If you want to browse internet while on the road and in the subway, should buy a prepaid card from convenience stores in Seoul and Gyeonggi such as Seven Eleven, C&U and GS25, which is called Olleh from KT.
