Job Responsibilities
Your main role/responsibility will be to provide services and consultation such as analyzing and re-designing functions of the organization/management methods. You will work with corporate management in order to improve, plan and implement effective management strategies.
You will also be required to analyze the necessity of advertisement/marketing strategy. You will be expected to plan and suggest effective advertisement/marketing strategies and work with Korean counterparts to provide appropriate promotion materials.
Qualifications
A Bachelors or higher in related field is needed. Many companies prefer individuals with an M A that have experience in IT and risk management.
Candidates should demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Those familiar with a broad range of enterprise infrastructure and products are given preference.
You will need good verbal and written communication skills as well. Remember you will be working in a Korean business environment. Consequently ability to speak fluent Korean along with English is needed.
Strong leadership skills is another prerequisite. You are expected to work in collaboration with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation etc. Therefore you need effective leadership skills.
Salary And Other Benefits
Depending on the company, working hours and workload, you can make anywhere from 3 million KRW to 4 million KRW or higher. Other benefits include company provided accommodations and paid business trips. Working Hours
These kinds of jobs are usually full time. You will be working a full 8 hours or more schedule, Monday through Friday. In Korea, working more than 8 hours everyday and working on the weekends is pretty common too. In addition, Korean Business culture is known for ‘Business dinners/get-together’ or 회식 so be ready to kick back and drink some soju.
