The DongA Seoul Intl. Marathon originated from the Gyeongseong-Yeongdeungpo marathon, which was later changed to DongA marathon in 1931. The race has produced numerous star marathon runners, including Kim Eun Bae and Son Gi Jeong of the 1930, followed by Hwang Young Jo and Lee Bong Ju of today. The DongA marathon bears witness to the history of Korean marathon. The race is hosted by DongA Illbo Daily, and is held on the third sunday of March every year.

- Venue : Sejong-ro Intersection
- Start : Sejong-ro Intersection
- Finish : Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium
- Marathon course officially closes 5 hours after the starting time.
- Prize : 1st to 6th Men & Women winners will be awarded with trophies.
